ITV Broadcasting and other UK broadcasters claim that a company which allows people in the UK to watch via the internet, programmes which the broadcasters are showing on UK television results in the company infringing broadcaster copyright. The company denies doing anything wrong: what it is doing falls within the scope of a statutory defence in English law.
